DPO Network Blueprint for Co-Creation 2025

This paper sets out the DPO Network’s Blueprint for Co-Creation. At its core, co-creation is about bringing people together to engage as equals in shaping shared values, goals and actions that lead to successful and impactful outcomes. We recommend the collaboration of diverse stakeholders, working together to understand, define and address a problem or issue. This forms the foundation of co-creation. It upholds the right of disabled people to be part of decision-making processes that affect us – doing things with people rather than for them.

The DPO Network is committed to using co-creation to develop new solutions that enhance the lives of our members. It is also committed to effectively monitoring and putting in place the UN CRPD.
