How to claim Jobseeker’s supports after the 6 weeks of the emergency payment have ended.

3 schemes you can apply for:

1. Laid off temporarily without pay – Jobseeker’s Allowance/Benefit Application Form – Apply online or paper form

2. Self employed and your business has closed down – Jobseeker’s Self Employed Application – paper form

3. Hours reduced or put on short time working by your Employer – Jobseeker’s Allowance/Benefit Application form with Short Time Working Support Declaration form for your Employer – paper form

You will need your PSC card, mobile phone number, email address and some of your details to apply for Jobseekers online – www.MyWelfare.ie

If you want to create a verified MyGovID account, you will need your PSC card, mobile phone and email address to apply – go to www.Welfare.ie and click ‘create account’
