GP Access Scheme during the COVID-19 pandemic

Over the last two weeks, IDS have worked hard with CISLI (Council of Irish Sign Language Interpreters), SLIS, HSE and other stakeholders asking for changes to the GP Access Scheme during the Covid19 pandemic

Now the HSE have agreed that all Deaf people will have access to interpreting for their GP and testing and treatment appointments during the pandemic (not only those with Medical and GP cards). The HSE will allow remote to interpreting so that Interpreters can provide this service from any location on your device.
