About the Workshop:
“General Car Maintenance” is a one-day onsite workshop designed to support learners in developing practical knowledge relating to vehicle maintenance, routine safety checks, and essential car care procedures through accessible and hands-on learning activities.
Workshop Outline:
Introduction to basic vehicle maintenance and safety procedures
Understanding dashboard warning lights and vehicle indicators
Checking essential vehicle fluids including oil, coolant, and washer fluid
Exploring tyre maintenance, tyre pressure, and basic safety checks
Understanding battery care and routine vehicle servicing requirements
Participating in practical demonstrations and discussion activities relating to vehicle maintenance

Identify essential vehicle maintenance and safety procedures
Develop awareness of routine vehicle checks and maintenance practices
Recognise common vehicle warning indicators and maintenance requirements
