About the Workshop
“Art for Wellbeing” is a one-day practical workshop designed to support learners in exploring creative activities that promote relaxation, self-expression, and personal wellbeing. Through guided art activities and learner-centred discussion, participants will explore how creative expression can contribute to emotional wellbeing in a supportive learning environment.
Workshop Outline:
Introduction to creativity and wellbeing:
* Exploring art as a means of self-expression
* Using colour, shape, and texture in creative activities
* Creating individual artwork using a variety of materials
* Reflecting on the creative process
* Participating in practical art activities and learner discussion
What You Will Learn:
* Identify ways in which creative activities can contribute to personal wellbeing.
* Apply a range of simple creative techniques through practical activities.

Prerequisites:
No previous art experience is required.
Progression:
