Deaf Adult Classes during Covid-19

Due to Covid-19 our classrooms learning in the Deaf Village Ireland or any onsite venues across the country will remain closed until further notice and will continue to provide live online eLearning courses using Zoom video conferencing services. 

All our academic Autumn courses are currently closed for applications and our next term will be our Spring term starting 25th January 2021.

We will update this page as more information becomes available, so please check back regularly and social media to stay informed.

All our courses will be blended learning, that be a mix of both online and classroom base learning but due to the COVID-19, it is currently only online through our live eLearning using video conferencing- Zoom. We will review again for next year.

Classes for Deaf Adults

All our Deaf adult courses are taught through Irish Sign Language by experts providing knowledge and expertise in a specific subject and professional teachers. To book a place you must be Deaf or Hard of Hearing and over 16 years of age.

The Irish Deaf Society’s Deaf adult courses are funded by the Department of Education and Skills and we provide free classes for Deaf and Hard of Hearing people nationwide.
