Remote Interpreting Services

Currently the IDS is in partnership with SLIS and Deafhear to trial the remote Interpreting Services.

This is a free service to providers to provide an Interpreting Service via the computer.

A Deaf person can use your services provided you have a broadband connection on your computer and webcam. The Interpreter is based in Dublin and will interpret through the computer to the Deaf client sitting beside you. 

This trial is currently running every Tuesday and Thursday and is a free service.

Currently the trials are not running medical appointments.
