"I feel I have improved a lot with my English but I still have a lot to learn. I need to improve more on my grammar and my letter-writing".

"I felt myself constantly improving, we soon went onto letter writing and using books as materials…we started basic but soon worked our way up"

"If there were no literacy classes, I would have no confidence, I thank god I understand English more – although it has been a slow process. Without the Literacy classes, I wouldn’t have the confidence in writing emails, writing letters, formal or informal. If I never attended literacy classes, I may never have done what I have done in life – My first language is Irish Sign Language but I can now say that English is my second language and understand it"
